Something to hold you over...

I'm in the process of finishing an actual tutorial for this blog. I know. It's practically a miracle. So until I finish that product, here's another painting! 

This was requested by a friend of mine! I printed out a map of Texas and traced it onto the canvas. Then I just free handed the letters where I felt they fit nicely. My brushes were BRAND NEW here and it made this lettering so much easier. 

Be on the lookout for my next post which has a graduation theme!  

Whoooops....

Once again, no tutorial. I'm kind of awful at this whole blogging thing. Oh well. 

I made this because I was really needing a positive outlook. I get stressed so very easily and when I saw this passage I just knew it needed to be somewhere that I would always see it. 

I tried to do my whole ombré thing. I don't think it really came out how I hoped. However, I LOVEEEEE the way I wrote it out.

Soon, I'll be painting a cooler and I'm doing a tutorial along with it. I haven't quite decided if it'll be a tutorial that's pieced together as a whole or put out in parts. Either way, get excited about that!! 

I'm Back!

I've been missing for a while. I know. I haven't had much time to blog with classes in full swing. However, a lot of exciting things (and exciting crafts) have happened since my last post! With the semester dwindling down I'll be crafting much more. While I don't have tutorials for you today I will post all the crafts I've done since the last time I posted! Enjoy (:

As you can tell, I joined a sorority! What a true blessing it has been. Soon I'll start crafting for Christmas!
